BD Mexico in Reynosa is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support the optimization of manufacturing processes and reduction of waste. The role will assist the Engineering team in continuous improvement efforts, line balance, and equipment optimization across shifts.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, familiarity with statistics and AutoCAD LT, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering degree; internships welcome.
• Familiar with statistics and AutoCAD LT; capable of statistical analysis.
• Fast learner, initiative, and results oriented.
• Proficient with Windows operating systems and office tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multitasks well and meets deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Develop strategies to improve manufacturing and reduce waste.
• Monitor manufacturing procedures and implement changes.
• Install new equipment or technology to improve efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement and 5S of the area.
• Design, purchase and install equipment to boost efficiency.
• Develop concepts and designs for innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with external engineering companies on equipment specs.
• Analyze production and product performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Complete tasks within assigned projects.
• Join cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Support equipment calibrations with required documentation.
• Assist engineers with signing off documentation.
• Train personnel during pilot or validation runs.
• May be required to work any shift.

Job Description

This position manages manufacturing resources applied to objectives of one or more manufacturing sections or shift(s). Expectations are that this position will assist the Manufacturing Engineer or Engineering Manager to perform activities related to continuous improvement projects.

• Develop strategies to improve manufacturing and reduce waste, as well as perform line balancing.

• Monitor Manufacturing Procedures and make changes as required.

• Install new equipment or technology to improve efficiency.

• Participate in continuous improvement and 5'S of the area.

• Carry out the design, purchase and installation of equipment that helps improve efficiency or the product.

• Develop concepts and designs to bring innovative solutions to complex problems.

• Work with External Engineering Companies preparing the specifications of the machinery for the purchase of the equipment.

• Assist in the analysis of production and product performance, identifying solutions that help improve it, achieving cost reduction goals.

• Responsible for completing specific tasks of the assigned project.

• Participate in cross-functional teams to meet project objectives within assigned deadlines.

• Support equipment calibrations by generating the required documentation.

• Assist Engineers in collecting signatures on required documentation.

• Train personnel in pilot or special validation runs.

• May be required to work any shift.

Requirement

• Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. In previous internships or Manufacturing Engineering department

• Statistics. AutoCAD LT. Statistical analysis.

• Quick Learning, take initiatives and achieve results.

• Skills in using computers using a Windows environment.

• Excellent Communication and writing.

• Be multifunctional with knowledge of deadlines.
