BD in Nogales, Sonora, seeks an HR leader to align people strategy with business goals, develop talent, and drive responsible HR practices across the plant. You will partner with plant leadership to implement HR processes, manage performance, compensation, planning, and change initiatives while ensuring legal compliance and strong employee relations in a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 5+ years HR experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Experience with Mexican labor laws and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

• Creates and executes HR Strategy aligned with short and long-term business objectives.


• Supports the Plant Manager on the execution of the Good Job Strategy.


• Works with organizational leaders to effectively execute HR processes such as HR Planning (Succession Planning), Performance Management and Development, & Compensation, among others.


• Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to drive &/or lead change. Facilitates change management initiatives.


• Maintains good public relations status with the various civic and welfare organizations, local plants, and business people in the community regarding personnel functions.


• Assures that company employment, labor relations, personnel, and equal opportunity policies and practices comply with the applicable provisions of federal and state labor laws, including the maintenance of necessary files, etc.


• Develops and administers team development/team building strategies both proactively and when necessary to improve team performance. Presents options to Managers on organization; structure, roles & responsibilities, staffing levels, matrix management, etc.


• Responsible for developing strategic initiatives relating to Compensation and Benefits, which will include compensation research analysis and salary compensation, strategic negotiations with medical plan carriers and Insurance brokers, and all other employee-related benefits.


• Responsible for the Salary Administration of Exempt, Hourly, and CT personnel based on established reasonable compensation practices.


• Responsible for the coordination and implementation of HR practices and policies and handling of compliance in HR Legal related affairs.


• Serves as liaison between employees and different management levels to ensure problem resolution and assists in keeping employees informed of all changes related to personnel policies.


• Comply with Federal, Local, and FDA Regulations.


• Responsible for any HR Investigations.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
