Job summary

Flex is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Juarez to support cross-functional teams in design, manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. The role centers on process planning, takt and cycle times, and optimizing direct labor to meet production goals.

You will analyze layouts, costs, schedules and throughput, lead Kaizen projects, and collaborate with management to implement efficiency improvements. AutoCAD proficiency is required to review and modify drawings as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial Engineering preferred or related field.
• Conversational English required.
• AutoCAD proficiency required.
• Experience in capacity analysis and line balancing.
• Knowledge of Kaizen/Continuous Improvement.
• Experience with Production Line Projects.
• Familiarity with MOST/REFA/Time Studies.
• Recent manufacturing experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate process planning and setup with takt, cycle time, and direct labor in NPI.
• Review prototype results and provide feedback to NPI and sales.
• Analyze staff utilization, layout, costs, and schedules to optimize labor and equipment use.
• Suggest methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste by reorganizing duties and equipment.
• Collaborate with management to implement plans and recommendations.
• Develop systems for cost reviews, wage administration, and job evaluation.
• Design production planning and control systems to ensure quality.
• Plan plant locations and distribution for efficient logistics.
• Lead Lean, Automation, and Six Sigma initiatives to boost throughput.
