Flex is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Guadalajara, South Campus, to drive productivity through smart labor and process methods. You will report to the Director Process Engineering and tackle efficiency, cycle time, and cost through Lean, automation, and Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• Industrial engineering degree preferred or related field.
• Conversational English required.
• AutoCAD knowledge required.
• Capacity analysis experience for staffing and costs.
• Line balancing and workflow optimization experience.
• Kaizen/continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience with production line projects.
• Time studies using MOST/REFA methods.
• Recent manufacturing experience in a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions.
• Hybrid position and flexible collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide process time estimation to the quote team.
• Simulate process, materials and workflow; advise process engineer.
• Coordinate process planning for NPI with takt and cycle time requirements.
• Review prototypes and trials; provide actionable feedback.
• Develop and apply work measurement standards for labor utilization.
• Analyze staff utilization, layouts, and operations data to optimize efficiency.
• Recommend methods to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with management and engineering on implementation.
• Support cost reviews, financial planning, and production planning systems.
