Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Industrial Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize manufacturing methods, labor standards, and workflows across the plant. You will study time and motion, balance lines, plan capacity, and drive continuous improvement with a focus on productivity and cost reduction.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality and Logistics teams to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure reliable operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Industrial Engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with time studies, motion analysis, and line balancing.
• Knowledge of standard work, capacity planning, and labor modeling.
• Experience designing plant layouts and optimizing material flow.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Data analysis and simulation tools such as Power BI, Minitab, FlexSim.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing; Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

• Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Quality teams to improve operational performance.

About the Role

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing manufacturing methods, labor standards, capacities, and workflow processes across the plant. This role plays a key part in improving operational efficiency through time and motion studies, line balancing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Industrial Engineer works closely with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to drive productivity, reduce costs, and ensure efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with time studies, motion analysis, and line balancing.
• Knowledge of standard work development, capacity planning, and labor modeling.
• Experience designing plant layouts and optimizing material flow.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with data analysis and simulation tools such as Power BI, Minitab, FlexSim, or similar.
• Experience working with ERP/MES systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Experience in high-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
