Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a skilled professional to support and guide production costs, quality, safety, and environmental compliance in manufacturing. The role involves engineering support for equipment planning, development, operation, and maintenance within a dynamic production environment.

The candidate will lead improvement projects related to machining, apply GD&T and 1E specifications, and collaborate across teams to optimize processes and tooling. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• 80% English proficiency, written and oral.
• 4+ years of Machining programming and processes including turning, milling, multi-axis and grinding.
• Experience leading improvement projects related to Machining.
• Knowledgeable with Geometric Tolerancing and 1E specs.
• Machining background with offline programming.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.
• Monitoring equipment and process reliability; addressing problem areas.
• Analyzing engineering change notices and implementing changes.
• Providing engineering support on planning, development, operation, and maintenance of equipment, processes, or facilities.
