Job summary

Flowserve Corporation in Torreón, Mexico is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Engineer to supervise and develop electrical and instrumentation aspects of dry vacuum pump systems and liquid ring pumps.

You will review specifications, create schematics and BOMs, validate P&ID diagrams and ladder logic, and coordinate with design, procurement, QA and production to ensure safety, quality, and on-schedule delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–5 years in industrial electrical design in process industries, energy, chemical, Oil & Gas, EPC.
• Solid knowledge of instrumentation, control valves, transmitters, PLC/DCS, and safety codes.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical/instrumentation specs and ensure safety/compliance.
• Develop electrical schematics, BOMs, control panel drawings, and ladder logic.
• Validate P&ID diagrams, process diagrams, and wiring with project needs.
• Direct designers and technicians from concept to testing and support interfaces with other departments.
