Job summary

Gamma Recruitment seeks an Indirect Purchasing Specialist to support wire harness manufacturing operations in Nuevo León. You will develop sourcing strategies for indirect materials, lead RFQs, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate terms to improve cost efficiency and supply continuity.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of purchasing experience in manufacturing, strong English skills, and ERP proficiency (SAP/Oracle/QAD).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience, preferably in automotive/manufacturing.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QAD, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for indirect materials and services.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives.
• Conduct RFQs, supplier evaluations, and competitive bidding processes.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, service agreements, and contracts.
• Analyze spend data and develop strategies to optimize procurement costs.
• Identify, qualify, and develop suppliers that support operational and business requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships focusing on quality, service, delivery and cost competitiveness.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Negotiate long-term agreements that support business growth and operational efficiency.

Position Objective

To ensure the efficient procurement of indirect materials and services that support wire harness manufacturing operations by implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier performance, reducing costs, and ensuring uninterrupted support for production, maintenance, engineering, and administrative functions.

Education & Qualifications
