IKEA Gruppe in Mexico City is seeking a Store Logistics Lead to secure goods availability at store level, align with country fulfilment and commercial teams, and drive cost-efficient logistics operations. You will lead, develop and coach team members, ensuring long-term capacity planning and strong execution across the supply chain.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the store Logistics department and work with the country Fulfilment team and store commercial team to ensure goods availability at lowest cost.
  • Participate in the management process to create the store business plan and align country strategies.
  • Identify, recruit and develop talents within the function and secure succession.
  • Develop long-term logistics capacity within the store including space, equipment and people.
  • Share knowledge to support competence development and act as an IKEA value chain ambassador.
  • Monitor logistics performance and take actions to meet growth, budget and performance goals.
  • Analyse customer feedback and brand/co-worker inputs to improve logistics, merchandising and shopping experience.
  • Position IKEA as a responsible partner contributing to sustainable profitability and environment.
  • Ensure compliance with the IKEA Code of Conduct and local health, safety, security and environmental regulations.

Job description
  • Lead the store Logistics department and work with the country Fulfilment team as well asthe store commercial team to secure the highest goods availability, including customerorder fulfilment, for customers at all times at the lowest possible cost.
  • Actively participate in the management process to create the store business plan. Use global and country input to develop and follow up on all logistics and recovery actions thatsupport the country business plan and direction. Ensure all relevant country strategies andpriorities are aligned in the store business and action plan.
  • Identify, recruit and develop the many talents in the store, specifically in your own function.Secure a diverse, competent team that can execute their assigned responsibilities withconfidence and secure future succession.
  • Secure development and correct usage of long-term logistics capacity in the store accordingto range frame. This includes space, equipment and people as a part of the total supplychain capacity.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues and business partners to support their competencedevelopment, particularly the understanding of effective and efficient goods flow as well assafety in goods handling. Be an ambassador of the IKEA value chain within logistics throughsecuring the objectives and goals stated in the Global Supply Chain Operational Handbook,local appendices, and service agreements with the transport service providers.
  • Monitor the logistics and recovery department's performance and take relevant actions toachieve the goals for growth, budget and performance in the business plan and action plan.
  • Analyse and formulate actions based on the results of customer satisfaction feedback, IKEABrand Capital report, co-worker satisfaction feedback and commercial reviews. Ensurelogistics and recovery team actions ensure the quality of products, commercialmerchandising and ultimately deliver a great shopping experience in the store.
  • Position IKEA retailers and the IKEA Brand as responsible partners committed to loweringenvironmental impact by taking relevant actions that contribute towards achievingsustainable long-term profitability. Through your everyday work you contribute to a peopleand planet positive business, social connection and environmental impact.
  • Ensure that the store logistics and recovery departments work in compliance with the IKEACode of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to health, safety andsecurity and the environment.
  • Live the IKEA values and nurture a strong and thriving IKEA culture that inspires colleaguesto reach extraordinary achievements in the store.
