North American Production Sharing, Inc. is seeking an Import & Export Lead to guide a team and oversee daily operations in Mexico. The role focuses on compliance, process efficiency, and coordinating with customers and suppliers across import/export activities.

Advanced English is required; experience with PROSEC, R8, and maritime shipments (Ensenada) is a plus. The position involves leadership responsibilities and close involvement in operations.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and ensure compliance with processing times, procedures, and metrics for Import & Export transactions.
• Provide guidance to coordinators; restructure workloads and respond to customers or suppliers.
• Ensure coordinators complete and close customs entries accurately and on time, leveraging duty exemptions where applicable.
• Identify workflow blockers related to SIEF, supplier platforms, or equipment and tools.
• Participate in meetings with customers and compliance teams regarding catalog maintenance and regulatory updates.
• Promote team accountability, professionalism, and a respectful, collaborative work environment.
• Maintain clear communication between coordinators, supervision, and management on operational issues.
• Communicate with customers on escalated issues and offer strategic solutions.
• Identify customer risk levels and drive improvement actions.

We are looking for an Import & Export Lead to join our Import & Export, this is a

leadership opportunity for a professional with hands‑on Import & Export experience who is ready to strengthen their people leadership skills while remaining closely involved in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with established processing times, procedures, and departmental metrics for Import & Export transactions.
• Provide guidance to coordinators when questions or exceptional situations arise, including workload restructuring and responses to customers or suppliers.
• Ensure coordinators complete and close customs entries accurately and on time, applying available government programs and benefits that allow for applicable duty exemptions.
• Identify situations that may prevent an efficient workflow, including issues related to SIEF, supplier platforms, computer equipment, or other work tools.
• Participate in meetings with customers and personnel responsible for compliance and administrative activities related to catalog maintenance, particularly when accuracy levels deviate from expectations or updates are not completed within the timeframes established by customs regulations.
• Promote team accountability, professionalism, and a respectful, collaborative work environment with internal and external customers.
• Maintain effective communication between coordinators, supervision, and management when operational issues, concerns, or workplace matters arise.
• Communicate with customers regarding escalated situations and provide well‑thought‑out, strategic solutions.
• Identify different levels of customer risk and promote specific improvement actions.

Qualifications

Required

• Advanced English , with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
• General experience in Import & Export operations.
• Experience applying sector‑specific programs such as PROSEC, R8, or similar programs.
• Experience with maritime shipments, including operations through Ensenada.
• Ability to provide direction, follow up on operational activities, communicate effectively, and support a team in meeting established objectives.
