Ontex in Mexico is seeking an Import/Export Specialist to ensure timely arrival of materials, while guaranteeing compliance with customs and trade requirements. The role supports SAP-driven processes and coordinate with brokers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of Import/Export experience, strong organizational skills, and intermediate English. This on-site role offers growth in a global consumer goods company with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Import/Export or Foreign Trade.
• Knowledge of Annex 22, PROSEC, NAFTA/USMCA; SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate import documentation and operations with customs brokers.
• Review customs declarations, duties, and compliance with Annex 22.
• Track sea, rail, and air shipments.
• Validate certificates of origin and documentation required for imports.
• Prepare NOM letters and import/export reports.
• Maintain up-to-date physical and digital records.
• Monitor inventory in foreign warehouses and track its importation.
• Ensure compliance with foreign trade operations.
• Track the status of imports with internal departments and customs brokers.

We are needing an Import /Export Analyst to ensure the timely arrival of raw materials, spare parts, and machinery, while guaranteeing compliance with customs and foreign trade requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate import documentation and operations with customs brokers.
• Review customs declarations, duties, and compliance with Annex 22.
• Track sea, rail, and air shipments.
• Validate certificates of origin and documentation required for imports.
• Prepare NOM letters and import/export reports.
• Maintain up-to-date physical and digital records.

Experience And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Import/Export or Foreign Trade.
• Knowledge of RRNA, Annex 22, PROSEC, and NAFTA/USMCA.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to Advanced English
• Organizational skills, proactivity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
