Flex in Guadalajara, Mexico seeks a Software Automation Engineer to design, develop and deploy software that connects manufacturing equipment with enterprise systems. You will work on data acquisition, machine monitoring, API development, and IIoT initiatives to improve visibility and manufacturing efficiency.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize ETL pipelines, and build responsive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Mid-senior experience in industrial software development focusing on machine data and system integration.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java for industrial applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design software that connects manufacturing equipment to enterprise systems using industrial protocols.
• Create and maintain database applications and APIs to enable data flow across systems.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data visualization dashboards for real‑time insights.
• Configure data acquisition from PLCs and other controllers and troubleshoot connectivity.
• Collaborate with automation engineers to implement IIoT solutions and remote monitoring.
