MezTal seeks an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team supporting a U.S.-based client in the Senior Living industry.

The role covers the full AP cycle, vendor invoicing, matching, payments, reconciliation, and month-end closing, with strong English communication and independence in a hybrid Mexico-based setup, collaborating with U.S.-based teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience managing the full accounts payable cycle.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with U.S.-based companies or teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/ERP.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment processing.
• Review, code, and process vendor invoices with proper approvals.
• Perform two-way and three-way matching where applicable.
• Prepare and process vendor payments and reconciliations.
• Reconcile vendor statements and AP balances; resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor outstanding invoices, deadlines, and AP aging reports.
• Assist with month-end closing activities (AP reconciliations, accruals).
• Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.
