Job summary

Marelli is seeking a MPF Engineer to join the Manufacturing / Automotive Lighting team in Juarez, MX. You will coordinate production schedules, optimize resources, and drive lean improvements to meet delivery targets and business goals.

The role requires strong planning, analytical, and communication skills, with a focus on quality and collaboration across production and engineering teams. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, operations management, or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, control, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ERP and production management software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and inventory targets.
• Coordinate with departments to align production capacity with demand forecasts.
• Optimize use of materials, labor, and equipment to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure material availability.
• Identify opportunities to streamline production processes and implement lean manufacturing.
• Track production metrics and analyze deviations to implement corrective actions.
• Ensure processes meet quality standards and collaborate with QA to address issues.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and sales teams to align goals and provide updates.
• Address and resolve production-related problems and investigate root causes.
