Cognizant in Mexico seeks a seasoned IBM z/OS Communications Server specialist to join a hybrid team in Guadalajara or Mexico City. You will install, configure and maintain VTAM, EE, and related networking components, ensuring secure integration with TLS/SSL and RACF.

You will optimize SNA/TCP/IP networks, monitor performance with tools like OMEGAMON, NetView, and RMF, and troubleshoot complex incidents across mainframe and enterprise systems, collaborating with IBM support and cross-functional

Formación

Expertise in IBM z/OS Communications Server components including VTAM and TCP/IP.
Experience with Enterprise Extender (EE), SNA, and TCP/IP networking.
Experience with OSA, HiperSockets and Sysplex networking.
Knowledge of TLS/SSL, AT-TLS, SAF/RACF security integration.
Strong network performance tuning and troubleshooting abilities.
Familiarity with network automation and monitoring tools.

Responsabilidades

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain IBM z/OS Communications Server components and related networking products.
Configure and administer SNA and TCP/IP networking environments and support OSA Express adapters.
Monitor performance, analyze bottlenecks, and optimize throughput using standard monitoring tools.
Troubleshoot complex TCP/IP/VTAM/EE issues and coordinate with IBM and internal teams to resolve incidents.
