Job summary

Leica Geosystems in Mexico City seeks a Finance Controller to lead local financial control, accounting oversight, planning and reporting for Mexico, reporting to the Head of Finance LATAM. The role ensures accurate local numbers, effective controls and compliance with Mexican tax laws within Hexagon Group policies.

This is a hybrid position with three days in the Mexico City office, requiring collaboration with GBS America and the commercial organization to drive disciplined financial processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, corporate accounting or finance in Mexico.
• Sound understanding of Mexican accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience coordinating with GBS/Head of Finance LATAM.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with GBS America on transactional accounting and reporting.
• Manage budget, forecasts, cash flow, working capital and fixed assets.
• Ensure Mexican tax compliance and payroll-related accounting.
