Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Mexico is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage day-to-day financial activities, including analysis, reporting, and controls. You will support month-end close, audits, and provide actionable insights for cash flow and working capital.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting, 3–5 years in a similar role, and proficiency with SAP/Oracle and FP&A tools. Strong English skills are required for a global business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (CMA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, or similar finance role in a large multinational.
• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel (Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and FP&A software (Hyperion, Anaplan) is highly desirable.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Perform balance sheet reviews and reconciliations, investigate open items, and ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications with proper documentation.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities with timely accounting and control tasks.
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing documentation and reconciliations.
• Analyze Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, aging, and cash flow impact.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variances and trends, and translate into insights.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations highlighting KPIs and deviations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
