Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to support the development, launch and continuous improvement of residential HVAC products. You will work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations to ensure successful product introductions and engineering change implementations.
From concept through production, you will contribute to validation, manufacturing readiness, documentation, and cross-functional problem-solving while supporting cost,
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing/industrial engineering or related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in product/manufacturing engineering or similar.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Familiarity with Engineering Change Management processes.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- CAD experience with Creo or SolidWorks.
- Basic understanding of quality tools and structured problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environments.
- Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal.
Responsabilidades
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from development through production launch.
- Participate in prototype builds, pilot runs, product validation, and launch readiness activities.
- Coordinate assigned project tasks and support cross-functional teams in achieving milestones.
- Support the implementation and tracking of ECNs.
- Evaluate impacts of engineering changes on BOMs, manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation.
- Provide technical support for manufacturing, quality, and product-related issues.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Support product testing, qualification, validation, and compliance verification efforts.
- Prepare technical documentation, validation reports, and project progress updates.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve product quality, manufacturability, productivity, and cost performance.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical requirements.
- Utilize SAP and engineering systems to support product and project activities.
- Participate in project reviews, technical discussions, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and elevate issues when necessary to support successful project execution.
