Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a passionate Calculation Engine Engineer to join our Modeling and Simulation team. You will apply thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods to develop robust calculation engines for Carriers HVAC product portfolio.

You will collaborate with marketing, product engineering, and global stakeholders to translate customer needs into high‑performance models, ensuring accuracy, scalability and easy deployment.

Formación

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant engineering experience with a Masters degree.
• Strong foundational knowledge in heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical analysis, and nonlinear systems.
• Hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, or C++.
• Experience in HVAC/R or power plant equipment design, analysis, or application.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain calculation engines for Carriers HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to develop robust algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to enhance algorithms for system selection and performance.
• Work with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of engines into modeling platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through validation and testing.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
