Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, seeks a passionate Calculation Engine Developer to join our Modeling and Simulation team. Apply advanced thermodynamics and numerical methods to develop scalable engines for our HVAC portfolio.

You will collaborate with marketing, product engineering, and global stakeholders to translate customer needs into high‑performance models and help deploy solutions across Carrier platforms.

Formación

• Master's degree in a thermal engineering related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical analysis.
• Experience with nonlinear algebraic and differential equation systems.
• Hands‑on programming in Python, Modelica, C++, or related languages.
• Experience in HVAC/R or power plant equipment applications.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain calculation engines for Carrier's HVAC products and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to build robust algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to meet performance and accuracy goals.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of engines into Carrier's platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through testing and validation.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
