Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Calculation Engine Engineer to develop and deploy high‑performance calculation platforms for HVAC products. You will apply thermodynamics, heat transfer, and numerical methods to enable optimized product selection and customer solutions.

The role requires 2+ years of engineering experience with a Master’s degree, strong programming in Python, Modelica, or C++, and experience in HVAC/R or power plant equipment. Collaboration across global teams is essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 2+ years of engineering experience with a Master’s degree.
• Strong foundation in heat transfer, thermodynamics, numerical analysis and nonlinear equation systems.
• Hands-on programming in Python, Modelica, or C++.
• Experience in HVAC/R or power plant equipment design, analysis, or application.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate across functions.
• Capable of independent work within a collaborative team.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain calculation engines for HVAC product offerings and sales tools.
• Apply heat transfer, thermodynamics, and numerical methods to build robust algorithms.
• Collaborate with optimization engineers to improve system selection and performance predictions.
• Work with marketing, product engineering, and global teams to translate needs into solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of engines into modeling platforms.
• Ensure model accuracy, robustness, and maintainability through testing and validation.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
