ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo León, Mexico, is seeking an HSE Specialist to elevate health, safety, and environmental performance in manufacturing. You will apply in-depth HSE knowledge to identify risks, develop solutions, and foster a high-performance safety culture.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, waste management, energy efficiency, and sustainability reporting, including carbon footprint and water use. Strong English, ISO 45001 & 50001 experience, and Power BI analytics are highly valued.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in sustainability, administrative or industrial engineer.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles as HSE Specialist (Environment & Sustainability).
• Experience in manufacturing environment.
• Lead or internal auditor for ISO 45001 & 50001.
• Clean Industry, ZWTL and Net Zero programs knowledge.
• Federal, state, and local HSE regulations (e.g., SEMARNAT, PROFEPA).
• Experience in Power BI & AI.
• Advanced English level.

Responsabilidades

• Lead waste management techniques, collection of storm water samples, regulatory inspections and mitigation of environmental risks.
• Interact with environmental regulatory agencies, permit evaluation/processing, and new processes/technologies.
• Submit critical reports to various government agencies.
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies, policies, and programs aligned with corporate goals and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and operational costs through energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Monitor and report sustainability metrics including carbon footprint, water usage, and waste generation.
• Engage stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives.
