Job summary

Teconnex US & Mexico is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety, environmental, and compliance excellence in a dynamic automotive environment. The role focuses on developing and implementing EHSS programs to achieve a Zero Accidents culture on site in Apodaca.

You will ensure compliance with Mexican regulations and international standards, drive continuous improvements, and lead training across teams while coordinating with IATF and security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSE leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican regulatory frameworks and international standards.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing (highly desirable).
• Bilingual: Spanish & English (professional level).
• Degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHSS strategy and drive a Zero Accident culture.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, IMSS, SSA).
• Implement and maintain ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 systems.
• Support IATF 16949 compliance within the automotive sector.
• Deliver EHSS training and lead safety engagement across teams.
• Monitor, report, and improve EHS performance metrics.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive/corrective actions.
• Oversee asset and site security (C-TPAT & OEA).

About the Role

As our HSE Manager, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHSS programs, ensuring full compliance with Mexican regulations and international standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001). You will play a critical role in safeguarding our people, operations, and environment while driving performance and compliance across the business.
