Job summary

Dauch seeks a Head of Engineering & Operational Strategy in Silao, Mexico, to lead manufacturing optimization initiatives across the organization and shape long-term operational strategy. You will drive productivity, cost competitiveness, and capacity planning in collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Plant Leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IE or related field required; master's preferred.
• Proven leadership in Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence.
• Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Industrial Engineering and Operational Strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Drive workforce optimization, labor standards, plant capacity planning, and resource utilization strategies.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve performance and competitiveness.
• Develop data-driven approaches for operational decision-making, KPI management, and performance optimization.
• Partner with plant leadership teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational scalability.
• Lead manufacturing footprint assessments, investment evaluations, and strategic operational projects.
• Build, develop, and mentor high-performing Industrial Engineering and Operations Excellence teams.
