Job summary

Dauch seeks a Plant Manager at the El Carmen Manufacturing Facility in Mexico to lead overall operations and drive profitability in automotive component production. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while steering strategic initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain.

Lead a high-performing team, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, automotive preferred.
5+ years in Plant Manager or similar senior leadership role.
Proven ability to lead complex manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement.
Strong knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methods.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing budgets, costs, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Oversee all plant operations including manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, and HR.
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team with a culture of safety and accountability.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Manage plant budgets, financial performance, and capital expenditures.
Drive operational excellence through lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
Collaborate with corporate leadership to align plant goals with company objectives.
Build relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders; oversee maintenance and upgrades.
