Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Chief Agentic AI Engineer to architect, deliver, and run autonomous agent systems at scale with production-grade reliability. You will shape end-to-end agent workflows across runtime, memory, identity, tools, and observability while raising the bar for evaluation, tracing, and guardrails.

You will lead design for multi-step engagements, leverage Strands and other SDKs, and optimize for cost, latency, and security boundaries in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development
• 2+ years shipping LLM-based agents to production
• Experience with agentic frameworks and production-grade systems

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for autonomous agents across runtime, memory, identity, tools, observability
• Champion adoption of AWS Bedrock AgentCore and Strands SDK in production deployments
• Design long-term memory and context-management for multi-step engagements
• Create and maintain MCP servers and tool integrations used by agents
• Optimize reliability, cost, latency, and establish evals, tracing, and guardrails
