Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Finishing Production Supervisor to manage the finishing line at the El Carmen Manufacturing Facility in Mexico. You will oversee hourly operators, plan daily activities, ensure quality output, and adhere to schedules and safety standards.

You will coordinate with maintenance, quality control, and procurement, monitor production records, and drive continuous improvement through waste reduction and efficiency gains while fostering a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing with at least 2 years in supervision.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma and quality control principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train finishing operators and maintain a safe work environment.
• Plan, organize, and monitor daily finishing activities to meet targets.
• Ensure consistent finished product quality and adherence to QC procedures.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Manage raw material and consumable inventory with procurement.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
• Maintain production records (output, scrap, labor hours) and safety compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development.
