Allegion is seeking a Hardware Technician to support hardware development and sustaining engineering through hands-on laboratory work, including PCBA-level failure analysis, product validation, test setup preparation, and sample coordination. The candidate will maintain a safe lab, ensure equipment readiness, and generate reliable data to support decisions and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience, 1+ years in electronics,

Formación

• 1+ years of experience in the electronic industry.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and circuit debugging.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• English communication skills, both verbal and written (desirable).

Responsabilidades

• Conduct PCBA-level root cause analysis to troubleshoot defects and drive resolution.
• Prepare bench-level test setups and perform product validation activities.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and samples to support engineering development, testing and validation.
• Support evaluation of existing product issues related to design, manufacturing defects, quality concerns and performance-related problems.
• Support and follow up on reliability testing for current production products and new development initiatives.
