Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. is seeking a hardware-focused technician to perform detailed inspections, lab testing, and modifications on electronic cards, supporting continuous improvement of our product offerings. You will work in a hands-on environment across testing, rework, and component assembly.

The role requires experience with Team Center, BOM databases, CAD tools, PCB design basics, soldering, and precise measurements. Strong English and meticulous problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with hardware, electronic, and mechanical components in lab/manufacturing.
• Proficiency with Team Center, BOM management, and electronic card databases.
• Strong testing skills for electronic components using multimeters and soldering equipment.
• CAD software knowledge for 2D and 3D design.
• Understanding of PCB design fundamentals and power/control circuits.
• Ability to perform precise rework/modifications on electronic cards with microscopes.
• Advanced conversational English, esp. technical electronics vocabulary.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in hardware testing, PCB design, and electronic component troubleshooting.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience with layout design and oven-based component testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Team Center, BOM, and electronic card databases.
• Inspect and measure electronic components such as resistors and capacitors.
• Support laboratory testing by running tests, performing measurements with multimeters, and conducting rework on electronic cards.
• Operate and monitor electronic cards in ovens, ensuring temperature ranges are maintained.
• Perform modifications on electronic cards including component replacements using soldering tools, tweezers, and microscopes.
• Utilize CAD tools (2D and 3D) to support design and layout tasks.
• Assist in PCB design and have a foundational understanding of electronics, including power supplies and control circuits.
