Job summary

HP Inc. in Mexico's Jalisco region is seeking a Hardware LabTech Engineer to support validation lifecycles, assemble systems from BOMs, and ensure production readiness through rigorous testing.

You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement, troubleshoot hardware issues, manage lab assets, and maintain documentation to sustain compliant, efficient lab operations.

This role requires hands-on hardware experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on PC hardware assembly and repair, BIOS/firmware config, and OS validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware validation activities for projects and customer solutions.
• Assemble and configure systems according to BOM and specs; build validation units.
• Coordinate hardware procurement and manage lab inventory and assets.
• Investigate hardware failures; reproduce issues; work with engineering for corrective actions.
• Maintain lab infrastructure, ensure ESD, safety, and proper documentation.
