Flex is seeking a Process Engineer based in Guadalajara North to drive manufacturing process definition, implementation and continuous improvement. You will work with SMT, PCBAs and production teams to optimize cycles and reduce defects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology), Wave Soldering, Routers, and Press-Fit processes.
• Knowledge of line definition, line balancing, and manufacturing layouts.
• Experience working with medium- and high-complexity printed circuit boards (PCBAs).
• Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
• Basic to Intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Familiar with manufacturing processes, technologies, techniques, and products.
• Define, implement, and evaluate manufacturing processes.
• Identify root causes of manufacturing process failures and resolve issues.
• Oversee production activities and day-to-day manufacturing problem solving.
• Prepare justifications for purchase and implementation of production equipment and/or tooling.
• Oversee installation and startup of new production process equipment.
• Create and lead Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Establish robust, repeatable process parameters and control methodologies.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing process issues and drive improvements.
• Participate in cycle time reduction initiatives and process improvement.
• Evaluate and select engineering materials for manufacturing applications.
