Flex in Guadalajara is seeking a Materials Manager to lead planning, distribution, and inventory control for electronics manufacturing. You will work with Purchasing, Project and Operations teams to ensure materials flow smoothly to the production line.

This role requires BA/BS/MBA, advanced English, strong ERP/MRP experience, and proven people management. You will drive cycle counts, optimize obsolescence, and partner with suppliers to meet cost and quality goals.

Formación

• BA/BS/MBA in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong background in materials planning and purchasing within electronics manufacturing environments.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with NP I and sustaining operations, with direct people management responsibilities.
• Experience in automotive, telecom, industrial, or related electronics manufacturing projects.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the planning activities across the site.
• Manage, control, and direct the activities and staff involved in the distribution of inventory to the production line.
• Manage, control, and direct staff to achieve Materials profit and loss goals including minimization of excess and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure the timely delivery of materials at the most economical cost, consistent with quality standards.
• Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction through negotiations of customer expectations and managing staff.
• Coordinate with customers, purchasing, project managers, operations managers, and warehouse managers.
• Be in charge of disposition of excess and obsolete materials.
• Provide for the proper shipping and documentation of finished goods.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and material control systems.
• Review, plan, and approve purchase orders and change notices.
• Travel as required.
