Job summary

Paylocity, a leading provider of cloud-based HR and payroll software, is seeking a Data Engineer based in Guadalajara. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines to support analytics and operations, collaborating with data scientists and software engineers to deliver scalable data solutions.

The role requires 2+ years in data engineering or software development, proficiency in SQL and Python, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery, plus DBT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and distributed computing.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Experience with DBT.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
