AgileEngine in Monterrey, MX is seeking a Data Engineer with strong Databricks and GCP experience to develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and productionize agentic workflows for data engineering automation.

You will design and implement data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and BigQuery, integrate Delta Lake, and build reusable data frameworks to support evolving business needs. This role offers flextime and exposure to modern data platforms across Fortune 500 clients.

Formación

• 5+ years hands-on Databricks and PySpark experience.
• Advanced SQL and data-processing skills.
• GCP, especially BigQuery, experience.
• Delta Lake and lakehouse architectures experience.
• ETL/ELT design and data-quality focus.
• Production-grade data solutions experience.
• Software engineering practices: testing, versioning, monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
• Build and operationalize agentic workflows to automate data engineering and related processes.
• Integrate agentic capabilities with Databricks, GCP, BigQuery, and Delta Lake environments.
• Develop data pipelines and processing solutions to support new business requirements and datasets.
• Build reusable frameworks and components for cross-project data work.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, validation, and production controls.
• Optimize PySpark and SQL workloads for performance and scalability.
• Support testing, deployment, productionization, and ongoing enhancement of data solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex data and production issues.
