Job summary

Rijk Zwaan in Guanajuato, Mexico, is seeking a Manager, Finance & Operations to guide the growth of its Mexican subsidiary. You will lead strategic and operational management, partnering with the Manager of Seed Production to ensure alignment with global standards.

Based on site in San José de Iturbide, Guanajuato, the role covers finance, HR, IT, legal and facilities, with responsibility for processes, controls, financial insights, talent development, and strategic projects.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and operations management in a multinational setting.
• Strong affinity with agriculture or seed production.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
• Hands-on, analytical, and people-oriented leadership style.
• Professional fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Values and mindset that align with developing people and driving performance through long-term excellence.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence across finance, HR, IT, legal and facilities.
• Implement and optimize processes, protocols and internal controls.
• Provide financial insights and business analyses to support data-driven decisions.
• Lead HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, team development and performance management.
• Support development and execution of strategic plans, audits and investment projects.
