Job summary

Rijk Zwaan in Mexico seeks a Sales Representative to develop the market for its crop portfolio. You will meet customers, advise on varieties, and introduce new varieties to growers across Central Mexico through trials, events and field visits.

You will also prepare sales forecasts and collaborate with Sales Managers, Crop Specialists, Trial Specialists, and Logistics to ensure effective market development and customer support. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Agronomy engineer or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in horticulture, crops, products, and market knowledge.
• Preferably field development experience of vegetable varieties and sales.
• Willingness to travel and strong customer orientation.
• English communication skills (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Develop the market for Rijk Zwaan crops by identifying new business opportunities.

Within this role, you will be responsible for developing the market for Rijk Zwaan crops by identifying new business opportunities. You will meet with customers to provide professional agronomic advice, recommend suitable varieties for different market segments, and introduce new varieties to growers across the central states of Mexico through trials, events, and regular field visits.

In this role, you will also be responsible for preparing sales forecasts based on customer requirements and long-term planning for the region. A thorough knowledge of the variety portfolio is essential. Additionally, you will work closely with Sales Managers, Crop Specialists, Trial Specialists, and the Logistics team to ensure effective market development and customer support.
