Worldpay is seeking a Virtualization Engineer to join our global IT team and help shape the future of payments. You will install, configure and manage VMware ESXi/hypervisors, vCenter, and virtual machines, while ensuring security and high availability.

Ideal candidates have a degree in IT and strong automation skills with PowerShell or Bash, plus experience across Windows and Linux, TCP/IP, and storage management. Advanced English required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with multiple operating systems and related utilities/hardware.
• Knowledge of storage management and TCP/IP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient in English (Advanced).

Responsabilidades

• Install and configure virtualization software (VMware ESXi, vCenter).
• Manage virtual servers including provisioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement virtualization security controls (access, encryption, monitoring).
• Apply updates and patches to virtualization stack and OS.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues in virtualized infra.
• Collaborate with IT teams and provide user support; participate in on-call rotations.
• May require 24x7 on-call and weekend coverage.
