Avnet seeks an ITAR/compliance specialist to ensure our global supply chain adheres to export control regulations. You will monitor shipments, perform license determinations, and maintain accurate records to support regulatory compliance.

The role involves screening new customers, updating regulatory databases, and delivering training on security requirements. A bachelor’s degree and familiarity with BIS/DPL sources are expected, with opportunities to advance in a multinational setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Foundational knowledge of ITAR and EAR regulations is expected.
• Experience with license determinations and compliance reporting is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure company supply chain complies with ITAR, EAR and all regulatory requirements.
• Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with recordkeeping and reporting obligations.
• Perform license determinations and apply license exemptions where applicable.
• Provide reports to support business decisions and demonstrate regulatory compliance.
• Conduct new customer screening and Denied Party Check reviews.
• Develop and deliver training on security and export control requirements.
• Stay updated on BIS, DPL and related regulatory information.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and maintain records.
