Job summary

Landis+Gyr is seeking an Import & Export Analyst to oversee foreign trade operations in Mexico. You will ensure compliance with customs laws, validate documentation, and coordinate shipments for production materials and equipment. Strong system knowledge and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in import/export or 2+ years in manufacturing, with experience in SAP, Annex 24/30, and VUCEM. English proficiency and proactive problem solving are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in import-export operations or 2+ years in manufacturing roles.
• Knowledge of Annexes 24 and 30 and international shipments.
• Proficiency in foreign trade systems (Vastera/VUCEM) and SAP.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Annex 24 up to date and import/export docs (invoices, declarations, origin certificates).
• Review/validate import/export invoices per customs regimes; align with BOMs/SAP records.
• Monitor declarations, verify inventory, units of measure for raw materials in SAP.
• Coordinate import/export of production materials, machinery, and finished goods.
• Assist invoicing and tracking of foreign trade operations; prepare consolidated declarations and R8 forms with VUCEM.
