Stryker is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist in Baja California, Mexico, to manage cross-border import/export activities and ensure compliant documentation. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication and collaboration with carriers, brokers, and regulatory teams.

You will review records, maintain invoices, and provide guidance on customs and trade regulations to ensure accurate filings and timely shipments. Proficient Excel and trade software experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export compliance, customs operations, international trade, or a related field.
• Fluent English and Spanish, read/write/speak both languages without restriction.
• Experience using customs or trade compliance software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based business applications.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, tariff classification, country of origin requirements, and customs compliance processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage import and export documentation to support compliant cross-border trade operations.
• Review trade records for accuracy, including tariff classifications, country of origin information, and trade agreement documentation.
• Monitor shipments with carriers, customs brokers, and service providers to support on-time freight movement.
• Process and maintain import and export invoices for trade compliance activities.
• Provide guidance on import regulations, export controls, customs requirements, country of origin determinations, and government agency processes.
• Respond to customs inquiries, audits, requests for information, and other regulatory communications.
• Correct customs submissions and support resolution of trade compliance issues when identified.
• Maintain accurate data and legally required records in trade compliance systems while supporting alignment with global trade compliance policies.
