Newell Brands in Mexico City is seeking a Foreign Trade Sr. Analyst to manage import/export operations, validate documentation, and ensure compliance with Mexican customs rules.

The role coordinates with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, maintaining records in SAP and driving risk controls. Candidates should have 3+ years in Mexican foreign trade, experience with pedimento validation and Incoterms, and solid Excel skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade, International Business, Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Mexican foreign trade operations.
• Strong experience in imports, exports, pedimento validation, and customs documentation.
• Knowledge of MVE, NTRs/RRNA, Incoterms, FTAs, and Mexican customs regulations.
• Experience with SAP, VUCEM, Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience with EDICOM, Power BI and AI tools is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and track import and export operations.
• Perform advanced validation of customs documentation, including invoices, packing lists, BL/AWB, and pedimentos.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican Customs Law, Foreign Trade Rules, and non-tariff regulations and restrictions.
• Coordinate daily activities with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain SAP records and databases accurately.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and operational risks before customs clearance.
• Support audits, preventive compliance reviews, and regulatory changes.
• Track KPIs related to compliance and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and backup support to junior analysts and traffic executives.
