Emerson & Company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. You will lead improvements in global supplier quality, driving on-time delivery, quality, and cost initiatives while applying Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, and SPC tools across projects with QA, engineering and procurement teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, ASNT Level II NDT training, and 5+ years in quality or engineering with supplier improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in quality or engineering functions with supplier improvement efforts.
• Bilingual communication ability (roughly 95%).
• Experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• ASNT Level II NDT training and testing experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead improvements in global area supply chain performance focusing on on-time delivery, quality, and cost initiatives.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, Gage R&R, and process mapping tools.
• Manage projects to closure with QA, engineering, and procurement support.
• Conduct supplier training on Lean Manufacturing requirements and Six Sigma.
• Lead supplier approvals and conduct on-site quality system audits (ESAC).
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Assist product managers in major supplier business reviews.
