Versigent is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor in Mexico to lead a team of Buyers and drive strategic sourcing across a global supplier base. You will shape supplier strategy, negotiate terms, and ensure cost competitiveness while maintaining supply continuity.

The role requires strong leadership, deep experience in procurement, and collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to deliver measurable business results. A robust, global perspective is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field as listed.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, APICS, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity and supplier strategies to support growth and competitive advantage.
• Lead RFQ processes, supplier selection, and sourcing recommendations for new and existing business.
• Manage critical supply recovery during shortages, disruptions, and launch challenges to maintain production continuity.
• Drive annual cost savings, productivity, and working capital initiatives.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, capacity, terms, logistics, and long-term agreements.
• Develop sourcing plans for launches, localization, and footprint optimization, partnering with cross-functional teams.
