Versigent in Mexico is seeking a senior supply chain leader to coordinate cost recovery negotiations and drive material availability across plants. The role emphasizes supplier engagement, documentation, and proactive problem resolution to secure supply and optimize spend.

The candidate will lead cross-functional teams, manage escalations, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with internal controls and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Extensive SCM or related experience (Logistics, Production Control).
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office and data management.
• Proven leadership and personnel management experience.
• Advanced supplier negotiations and cost-reduction focus.
• Ability to solve problems and manage emergencies in supply chain.
• Proven ability to make independent decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and maximize cost recovery negotiations.
• Coordinate with plants to ensure timely supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely responses.
• Lead and coordinate action plans to resolve operational purchasing issues.
• Develop strategies with teams to proactively prevent shortages and secure supply.
• Support Payment Solutions by managing suspended credit situations.
• Support Service Parts purchasing activity for all plants.
• Identify opportunities for material cost reduction.
• Comply with policies and internal audits and client requirements.
