Job summary

Kestrel Vision Group, a leading global data-driven control and inspection company, seeks an Sr. Accountant based in Mexico City. The role supports accurate accounting operations, closes, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvements in a fast-paced multinational environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, 5+ years in general accounting, and fluency in Spanish with good English to coordinate across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• At least 5 years of experience in all areas of general accounting.
• Experience with a multinational or global finance organization.
• Fluent in Spanish and good working knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist with accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets accounting.
• Support accounting activities for multiple legal entities and/or countries.
• Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting.
• Assist with foreign currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations where applicable.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, accuracy, and efficiency.
