Wärtsilä seeks a Technical Support Engineer to join the Energy Storage and Optimization Lifecycle Management team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality technical support for energy storage systems in a global, customer-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, plus 3 years of relevant hardware experience, and strong communication skills in English. Willingness to travel 10–20% and work across multiple global sites is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field; equivalent work experience accepted.
• 3 years of experience with electrical hardware or electronics preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficient in professional English; willingness to travel internationally (10–20%).

Responsabilidades

• Monitor energy storage sites globally and provide remote technical support.
• Troubleshoot systems using proprietary software and coordinate software updates.
• Coordinate field service visits and warranty claims with lifecycle teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of all customer requests and repairs.
• Provide energy storage training to customers and internal teams.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and support across sites.
