Job summary

FORTNA is seeking a Project Controller to implement its project control methodology and manage the financial performance of Client projects within delivery operations.

The role includes supporting international purchases, invoicing, tax reporting, and contract-related activities, with interaction across management levels. The candidate will travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related accounting experience.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial aspects of assigned Client projects to support the delivery project manager.
• Provide support for international projects including contract conformance, risk mitigation and reporting.
• Manage project billings activities, including milestones, progress billings, change orders, and invoicing.
• Lead customer-facing discussions related to billing, payment status and contract terms.
• Implement earned value measurement processes with the project management team.
• Support finance with international tax reporting and cross-border issues.
• Assist procurement on international purchases, importing and duties as needed.
• Communicate contract documents and changes with project managers and stakeholders.
• Analyze project variances and forecast cost overruns; report to management.
• Maintain ongoing communication to resolve open issues and drive process improvements.
