Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Product Line Planner to coordinate demand and supply planning for assigned product lines, ensuring inventory levels meet customer demand while optimizing capacity and continuity of supply.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, planning, commercial, and product management teams to balance short- and long-term planning, support new product introductions, and drive improvements in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain, Production Planning, Demand Planning or related functions.
• Strong analytical capabilities with forecasting and capacity planning.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Knowledge of MRP, MPS, S&OP/SIOP, and supply planning processes.
• Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams and customer-facing organizations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at multiple organizational levels.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and planning accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and risk mitigation abilities.
• Advanced Excel and reporting tools.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate plant and regional planning reviews aligning supply and demand with business goals.
• Lead development of supply plans within the SIOP process.
• Perform scenario planning and capacity modeling to identify risks and opportunities.
• Analyze demand/supply imbalances and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Coordinate security of supply activities and accelerated recovery plans (aRPM).
• Track, monitor, and report key supply chain KPIs and escalate issues.
• Support new product introductions, transitions, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with plant and global teams to optimize capacity and communication.
• Represent manufacturing in forecast consensus meetings balancing data and insights.
• Participate in SC planning reviews to align production schedules and stocking strategies.
• Provide Product Line Overviews and Product Team Plans to stakeholders.
• Represent Supply Chain in Product Teams to align operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic projects.
