Siemens Mobility is seeking a senior engineering leader in Mexico to manage sustaining engineering for circuit-breaker products and drive design-to-cost initiatives. You will coordinate with global teams in the US and Germany and lead a multidisciplinary group of 45–50 engineers to improve reliability, manufacturing efficiency, and cost optimization.

The role emphasizes product maintenance, certification, and strategic engineering initiatives aligned with global business goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in electrical products or related industries.
• 5+ years of people leadership managing large engineering teams.
• Proven experience with circuit breakers, protection devices, and switchgear.
• Experience with international certification requirements and testing processes.
• Demonstrated success leading Design-to-Cost and productivity initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Own lifecycle management of circuit breaker product families and drive continuity.
• Lead sustaining engineering, changes, and certification maintenance activities.
• Coordinate failure analysis and implement design enhancements.
• Sustain product robustness, reliability, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead global engineering reviews and align with US and German teams.
• Drive KPI tracking for quality, cost, delivery, and productivity.
