Job summary

Global Payments in Mexico City seeks a Data Analyst / Optimization Analyst to join the Global Strategic Optimization team. You will translate data into actionable recommendations to improve authorization, authentication, and routing performance for LATAM merchants.

You will work with operations, product, and issuers, using SQL and BI tools to monitor performance and drive measurable uplifts while communicating insights in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analytics, consulting, payments, or optimization experience.
• Experience analyzing transaction and payment performance data.
• Proven ability to present insights to technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for merchants and internal teams.
• Perform high-level data analysis and visualization to monitor performance.
• Drive authorization optimization and routing improvements through data-led recommendations.
• Support intake and prioritization of optimization opportunities and track outcomes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Technology, and issuers to implement solutions.
